Around in July? Join us for our first ever Outdoor Culinary Adventure
Join us on Tuesday July 10 for a leisurely paddle to the beautiful Toronto Islands in a heritage freighter canoe, a replica of the ones used by early Canadian settlers. Once we hit the shore.....we will feast on a gourmet dinner picnic then relax on the island. As the sun sets, we will board our canoes and paddle back to the city, taking in the magnificent skyline view from the water as darkness falls....you will see the city as you've never seen it before. Upon returning to shore, our Chef will treat you to a fabulous night time Flambé dessert demonstration to satisfy your sweet tooth. You will leave with some delicious recipes, a full belly and incredible memories of an amazing voyage to the islands. Oh and we will end the evening at a local pub for a pint or two so, what are you waiting for…..come escape the city with us!!!
About our Guide:
Chef Scott is a world traveled culinary professional, beginning his journey as a young boy in his Mother’s kitchen. His travels have led him from his native Atlantic Canada through Montreal, Italy, Portugal, New Zealand and several US locations. He worked as a private Chef in many of these locales, most often at 5-star hunting and fishing lodges where he rubbed shoulders with many celebs. He can cook anything….like New Zealand Red Stag, anywhere…..like 2,700 ft up the side of a mountain….and his passions trend to wild game and seafood (a throwback to his Maritime roots). He finally settled in Toronto, and along with his partner Tania, is passionate about showing travelers the ‘real’ city in all its glorious and tasty diversity and helping locals see their home through a new lense.
